The scion of the famous Yisa Braimoh political family in the Ihievbe community, Owan East local government area, Barrister Yisa Braimoh (Jr), has attributed the huge attendance recorded during the 80th birthday celebration of the patriarch of the family, Senator Yisa Braimoh, In the cozy and long-standing tie he enjoys between the elites and the downtrodden in the society.
Bar Braimoh, who is fast learning the wily ways of the old and carving a niche for himself as well, made the submission in the vote of thanks he delivered at the reception to mark the end of the series of activities lined up to celebrate the 80th birthday of Sen Yisa Braimoh.
Sen Braimoh is the PDP leader in Owan and holds the record for being the first Owan to represent Edo North senatorial district at the National Assembly.
Blessed with good health and promising children who are excelling in their chosen professions at 80, Sen Braimoh would certainly thank Almighty Allah for the “gift” of a worthy life, in retrospect.
, Hon Afie Braimoh, a top performer in the Gov Godwin Obaseki cabinet, is the daughter of Sen Braimoh.
Among those who paid glowing tributes to the celebrant at the curtain drawing birthday reception include the Edo State governor, Mr. Goodwin Obaseki; his deputy, Hon Phillip Shaibu; former Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase and a host of others.
Sen Yisa Braimoh clocked 80 on August 12.
