The Hon member representing Etsako East constituency at the Edo state House of Assembly,Hon Kingsley Ugabi has called on relevant authorities to commenced urgent works at the failed portion of the Auchi-Ayogwiri- Fugar- Agenebode road.
The lawmaker made the urgent call at the hallowed chamber of Edo Assembly during plenary.
Recall, the Ayogwiri community in Uzairue clan in Etsako West Local Government Area had recently embarked on protest by blocking the road to register their displeasure over the continued neglect of the failed which has become a threat to motorist.
Hon Ugabi told the parliament that the untold hardship the failed portion had subjected the people to explaining that they were left with no option but to take alternative longer routes to access their destinations.
Other lawmakers who spoke on the matter, stressed the need for the relevant agency to urgently swing into action by fixing the failed portions of the said roads to alleviate the plight of the people.
