A bike rider with passenger were seriously injured by a police Patrol Van along warake road in Auchi, Etsako West local government of Edo state
According to eyes witness account, the police van was alleged to have been on high speed in pursuit of boys usually referred to as yahoo boys and in the process lost control and rammed into a stationary truck opposite a popular hotel, Presto hotel and also crushed the commercial bike rider with a passenger on board (both males) whose survival is said not to be guaranteed.

The Okada rider and his passenger were reportedly rushed to a hospital but many said they may not survive as a result of the nature of their injuries.
Warake road in Auchi is well known as the hot bed of yahoo boys in Etsako and the police sometimes invade the axis to effect arrest.
