The former Labour Party, LP, Chairmanship Candidate for Oredo local government , Mr Onaghise Osaretin Daniel has congratulated Barrister Olumide osaigbovo Akpata on his emergence as the Governorship Candidate of the Labour party for the September 21 st Edo state governorship election.
Bar. Akpata was declared the winner of the party’s governorship primary election after he garnered 316 votes to defeat other aspirants thus emerging as the party flag bearer of the party ahead of the September governorship election in the state.
In a congratulatory message, Onaghise described Olumide Akpata as the choice of the people adding that and also commended , the conduct of the primary which he said was transparent, free, fair and peaceful.
He further enjoined members of the Labour Party both at the state and national to be united as a family which he said is the only ingredient needed to win the September 21 election.
Barr. Akpata will be meeting the candidates of the two major political party in the state, the people’s Democratic party PDP, Barr Asue Ighodalo and Senator monday okpeholo
of the All Progressive Congress APC.
