Ayogwiri community in Uzairue, Etsako West council area, is set to take its pride of place after years in the political doldrums.
And the person who is making all of the difference this time to put Ayogwiri firmly on the political map of Etsako Hon. Frank Odion, a young, vibrant, and budding politician.
For the first time in a long while, Hon. Odion is leading the onslaught to change the political dynamics of the community.
Though not a greenhorn in the political arena as far as Etsako west is concerned, Hon. Odion was able to put up a spectacular show to emerge as the PDP councillorship candidate for Ward 12 ahead of the September local government poll.
To emerge as a councilor, . Odion needs to poll the highest number of votes cast in the neighbouring five villages of Apashio, Ikabigbo, Idatto, Ugbenor, and Irekpai, all together with Ayogwiri making up Ward 12.
Hon. Odion is toeing the path of honor established by the duo of Hon. Isaac Abu and the late John Atogwe, both of whom served as elected councilors from the Ayogwiri community.
He only needs to win the LG poll to be inducted into the hall of political fame as a councilor
