Tinubu Reappoints Tony Aiyejina as NPC Commissioner for Edo

President Bola Tinubu has approved the reappointment of Dr. Tony Aiyejina from Edo State as a commissioner in charge of National Population Commission,NPC, In the state.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale the President charges the new and returning NPC Federal Commissioners to successfully implement all measures taken by his administration to produce and effectively appropriate accurate population data with which lasting solutions to Nigeria’s socio-political and economic challenges can be conclusively developed and executed.

Dr Aiyejina hails from Akoko Edo LGA in Edo north district of the state.

He was first appointed as a commissioner in NPC for Edo state in November 2018 by the former President, Muhammad Buhari administration .

Dr Aiyejina attended the University of Benin where he bagged Bachelor of Education in 1986 at the University of Benin and later capped with a Masters degree in Political Science at the University of Lagos.
