Shaibu, Arase, others pour encomiums on Yisa Braimoh at 80

The duo of Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu and the former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase have joined those who are pouring encomiums on Senator Yisa Braimoh in commemoration of his 80th birthday.

The former senator who represented Edo North senatorial district at the National Assembly will formally clocked 80 on the 12th August .

A line of activities which will be rounded off with a dinner is scheduled to take place in Abuja

In their two separate letters personally signed, the duo described Senator Braimoh as a man whose footprints are laced with exemplary leadership.

In his letter, Comrade Shaibu said” your eventful journey through life at 80years on account of your numerous achievements are testament to uncommon diligence, hard work, excellence and grace of Almighty Allah”

He continued ” That you are hale and hearty at this age with your children and grandchildren including a sitting commissioner in the Edo executive council, speaks volume of your legacies as a fulfilled, patriarch and mentor “

Former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase in his letter of felicitations, said the former senator life is worthy of celebration and the birthday provides the opportunity to do that.

He said “without an iota of doubt, you are worth celebrating. This is not just because of your resilience in navigating through the murky path of life but because of the unique touch to which you do so.Indeed your brilliance is the articulation of governance, public administration and political engineering is remarkable.”

The Edo deputy governor is expected to lead the cremes de la cremes of political leaders across party divides from Edo state to the birthday ceremony.

Senator Yisa Braimoh holds the record of being the first Owan person to represent Edo North at the National Assembly.

He holds many chieftaincy titles across Edo North and the state which were bestowed on him by esteemed Royal fathers .
