OYofo, Oghiadomhe , Alimikhena inaugurate PDP campaign committees in Etsako federal constituency

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has taken a step further in reaching the grass root to sell the party’s Guber candidate, Barr Asuen Ighodalo with the inauguration of local government chapters in the federal constituency

The inauguration of the bodies which are refered to as campaign management committee were inaugurated separately in the Etsako federal constituency which is made up three Etsako local government of Etsako west, central and Etsako East..

The inauguration of Etsako west LGA campaign with chief Lucky James as chairman was performed by the former chief whip of the Senate, Senator Victor Oyofo, while that of Etsako Central and Etsako East were conducted by
Chief Mike Oghiadomhe and Senator Francis Alimikhena.

The ceremony which has in attendance, the state deputy governor, Engr Omobayo marvelous, other leaders of the party in Edo north district, Hon pascal ugbomeh, senator Yisa Braimoh, Hon Henry duke Tenebe and Johnson Abolagba.

In their separate remarks at the three Etsako local government headquarters the trio of Chief Oghiadomhe, Senator Oyofo and Alimikhena enjoined the Campaign committee to live up to expectation on their mandate by ensuring the party’s Guber candidate, Asuen Ighodalo wins the election in their local government.

Also speaking with journalists shortly after the formal inauguration of the management committees, the deputy governor, Engr Omobayo said ” the concept of the committees is to ensure the PDP has a formidable attack, midfield and defence of competent men and women to confront the opposition for overwhelming victory to retain Osadebey Avenue”.

The Deputy Governor emphasized that the upcoming September 21 Edo governorship election is a must win for PDP in Edo North and the State in general.

He noted that if the developmental strides of Governor Godwin Obaseki must be sustained, no efforts will be spared for the PDP to emerge victorious at the poll, adding: ” we are determined to retain Osadebey Avenue”.
