The Matriarch of the Iduitua’s family of Obagie community in lkpoba Okha local government area of Edo state, late MADAM FELICIA lDUITUA’, was recently laid to rest with a befitting burial ceremony organised by her children and kinsmen.
The burial ceremony was the climax of a week long funeral arrangements which took place at a popular event center in Benin city, Edo state capital and was attended by the creme-de-la-creme of the society across the country .
MADAM IDUITUA’ who is survived by 3 children and 8 grandchildren was described by many including her children as a humane and loving person who does not discriminate in extending supports to others.
In his tribute to the late Matriarch, the deceased only son, Mr DANIEL IKPONWONSA IDUITUA described the relationship with her mother as wonderful cordial .
“if am I to choose a mother again, i will still choose my mother”
The eldest daughter, MRS. MAUREEN described her mom as a peace loving and caring woman whom she will definitely miss but she is happy that mama is in a better place.
Also speaking at the occasion, the daughter in-law of the deceased, MRS IZIEGBUWA HOPE IDUITUA described Mama as a second mother, gist partner and friend.
.” I miss Mama’s prayers for me and the children”
She prayed that Mama soul should rest in peace.
