Labour Party Unveils Party candidates ahead of House of Assembly elections

The Edo south senatorial district of the labour party who is still in the euphoria of winning the district national Assembly elections has formally unveils the party candidates ahead of the Assemblies election slated for March 18.

The unveiling was done by the senator elect for the district, Barr Neda Imasuen along with the leaders of the party in the state, Chief Patrick Eholor, chief Sam omede at a press conference in Benin.

Those available for unvailement were the candidates for Egor, , Derik Uhunmwagho, Ikpoba okha,Mrs Isoken Tongo and Peter omorogbe for ovia south west while others were unavoidable absent.

The candidates assured the their various constituencies of adequate and effective represention if voted into power.

Earlier in his remarks at the ceremony, senator elect, Neda Imasuen said the party is very grateful for the turn out of the people during the presidential and National Assembly elections and also voting for the party.

Recall, the labour party scored the highest votes cast in the presidential election for Peter Obi beating the PDP and the APC.

it also won the senatorial and two House of representatives seat in Edo south district.

Barr Neda Imasuen also used the forum to further dispelled the rumour about the party alliance or working relationship with other political parties nor the state government.

According to him, the Labour Party is on his own and more concerned on how to give the people the type of government they deserve.
