The Chairman of Etsako West local government, Hon. Marvelous Muhizu Zibiri, has condoled the family of late Engineer Zekeri Sedenu of Uzairue over the passing on of the patriarch of the family whose death occured during the week.
Hon Zekeri Sedenu was the former Chairman of Etsako west Local Government Area on the platform of the Social Democratic party SDP.
The chairman message was contained in a press statement issued and signed by his press secretary Iyamah Nurudeen and sighted by borderlinenews24.
According to the release, Hon. Marvelous described late Sedenu as a man of integrity and an astute politician who contributed immensely to the development of Etsako West and Edo State during his tenure as Council Chairman.
He noted that his death was a great loss not only to his family but also to the people of Etsako West and Edo State at large.
The Chairman urged the family to take solace in the fact that late Sedenu left a legacy of excellence and service to humanity, and his contributions will always be remembered.
He prayed that God would grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and also grant late Sedenu eternal rest.
Hon. Marvelous assured the family of the Council’s support and solidarity during this difficult period of mourning.
