Edo SSG, Others, commend author of Rising to the Top at book launch

The Secretary to the Edo State Government, (SSG), Osarodion Ogie Esq, have eulogised Mr. Eugene Onyebuchi Odoh for keeping hope alive at a time of distress and misplaced societal values.

Barr Ogie made the submission during the public launch of the book, ‘Rising to the top: From zero to hero; Modus operandi,” at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall in Benin City.

The book launch was a 3in 1 ceremony which was also used to celebrate the author’s twenty (20) years of public service and ten (10) years marriage anniversary .

The Book reviewer, Bernard Irusota Esq while reviewing the book said,” The book he said showed the ability of man to work seamlessly without breaking his role, trusting God, keeping faith and organizing his life in such a manner that God will bless his efforts. This he observed is “What we inherited from our Catholic education in Immaculate Conception College (ICC).”

He admonished, “For young men who want to get to the top it is possible without resorting to 419 (conmen) or nefarious activities,” the message in the book targets the good ones in society who do not have need to resort to greed and vice to survive in society.

The celebrant/book launcher who is a staff of Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria (RRIN), Iyanomo, appreciated the network of people who turned up for his event.

“I already anticipated and visualized. I contemplated it. The greatest miracle was that this contemplation came to pass as was envisioned. I am very grateful today because we started from scratch and God has sustained us till this day. The book is a reflection of a personal journey, a principal motivation to every struggling person.

Others who spoke at the book launch are the priest of St Joseph Catholic, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ujah ,Mr Sylvester Uyigue who served as the chairman of the occasion.
