Edosa promises Oredo west fulfilment of campaign promises

Hon.Richard Osaro Edosa who along with his colleagues formally took an oath of office as the lawmaker representing the Oredo West constituency in the state assembly has reaffirmed his commitment toward redeeming his campaign promises aimed at improving the welfare of his constituents.

Several campaign promises were made sequel to the last Houses of assembly election by a plethora of candidates.

As the sole Labour Party, LP, lawmaker in the recently inaugurated 8th state assembly, Hon. Edosa said he is unperturbed and optimistic about making a difference as well as pursuing people-oriented legislations .

The ancient city of Benin and its environs experienced the spill-over effect of the inauguration ceremony of the lawmakers. All the major streets and roads in the capital city, especially the adjoining streets and roads leading to the popular Ring Road experienced traffic gridlocks.

Friends, well-wishers, and also the family members of the lawmakers took over all of the available spaces to showcase solidarity.

Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Agbebaku who took over the proceedings and administered the oath on the other members of the assembly assured that the House would endeavour to bring everybody on board irrespective of party affiliations
