According to the commissioner, the police will partner the women journalists in their fight against rape, defilement, cultism and gender based violence.
Mr Dankwara said, “we are going to form a synergy with you in order to curb crimes and criminalities in Edo State.
“Please be free to report any erring policeman or officer using the force to intimidate any innocent citizen. We are civil in the discharge of our duty and we shall continue to sanitize the system through various means.
“On gender based violence, be free to contact the necessary departments. We are counting on you in this regard”.
“Women are force to reckon with and we shall continue to partner with you and the entire journalists in the State”, he said.
