‎BENIN CITY – The Association of Accredited Waste Managers in Edo State says it has enjoyed increased support in carrying out its mandate of evacuating waste under the leadership of Dr. Lucky Enehita-Inegbenehi, Managing Director of the Edo State Waste Management Board, EWMB.

‎The State Chairman of the Association, Comrade Ahmed Haruna Odolewo made this known in Benin while speaking with journalists.

‎He appreciated the Board for support in both enforcement and provision of equipment.

‎Comrade Odolewo further disclosed that the association is in discussion with the state government through the Board for support to procure equipment needed for waste evacuation, even on a payback loan basis.

‎“The business of waste evacuation is capital intensive,” he said.
