There was ecstasy and jubilation by All progressives congress (APC) party stalwarts on Monday at Iguobazuwa when a gubernatorial aspirant, Hon. Anamero Dekeri popularly referred to as DANCO promised to build an APC campaign Secretariat for Ovia Southwest if elected.
Hon Anamero Dekeri who led his campaign team to Ovia Southwest Local Government Area assured them of progress, prosperity and even development if elected as governor.
He told the gathered party faithfuls to hold their leaders accountable just as he urged them to hold him accountable for the success or failure of governance if elected.
Stating that his actions in life are guided by philanthropy haven received adequate guidance from his dad, he said the need to touch lives led to the setting up of a foundation in 2011 through which he used personal funds to build roads, bridges and even donating buildings to be used as schools, bought transformers and electrified whole communities aside constructing boreholes to ease the stress of designated communities.
He told community folks he was soliciting for their support to enable him have a wider platform through which he would be able to impact people and bring development closer to those who need it.
He frowned at the long list of aspirants jostling to govern the state, noting that many were in the race based on their innate belief that the winner takes it all, a flawed narrative.
He canvassed for support, appealing to the people of Iguobazuwa to key into his vision to enable him carry out an even spread of development.
