Says all issues will be resolved amicably

The lawmaker representing Orhionmwon South Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu who was recently placed on suspension over alleged along with two others has urged his supporters and constituency to remain calmed and shun any form of violence assuring that the ugly situation will be brought under the control.
The lawmaker who is making his first reaction to the suspension slammed on him along with two other members of the house of Assembly on Monday 6th May 2024.
According to a statement from the Office of the Lawmaker on Tuesday, Hon. Iyamu said he had no motive to call for the impeachment of the Speaker, nor does he have intentions to impugn the integrity of the house.
Hon assured that Iyamu normalcy will be restored soon at the Edo State House of Assembly.
Recall, the Speaker of the House, Blessing Agbebaku suspended three members for allegedly plotting to effect a change of leadership in the house as well as a “juju scare”.
The lawmakers are Okogbe Ojeneh Donald, PDP, Akoko-Edo II, Addeh Emankhu Isibor, APC, Esan North-East I and Iyamu Bright, PDP, Orhionnwon II.
