The House of Representatives candidate Etsako federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Dekeri Sunday Anamero, has tasked the newly elected governor of Ekiti State, Mr. biodun Oyebanji, to be magnanimous in his victory as he pilots the affairs of the state.
This was contained in his congratulatory message, signed by his Campaign Director on Media and Communications, Mr. Oseni Momodu and made available to newsmen in Benin City.
Anamero aka Danco said his victory at the poll was the act of God and on that basis, the interest of the majority should supercede every other interest either personal or otherwise.
The House of Reps hopeful said the APC victory at Ekiti State is a pointer that the party will still emerge victorious at the general elections come 2023.
“Your Excellency, accept my warmest congratulations on your victory as Governor-Elect and l wish you success as next Governor of Ekiti State.
“Your victory is a symbolic nod that our party is accepted by the masses.
“No doubt, given the landslide victory the party just recorded, Ekiti kété has opened a flood gate of electoral victories for APC across Nigeria more so as it’s the first election in the post APC presidential convention ahead of 2023 general elections. We expect same in Osun state as well.
“The Ekiti and Osun polls which usually holds before the general elections in every political dispensations have proven to be key indicators in determining the party with good prospects as the 2023 polls gathers momentum”, he said.
He therefore urged the youths, the aged, the artisans, the market women to revalidate their PVCs as a tool to vote for progress, prosperity and productivity.
