The Senator representing Edo north, district at the National Assembly, Senator Francis Asekhame Alimikhena has withdrew from APC senatorial Primaries less than 24 hours to the contest.
The news about the sudden withdrawal has gone viral on the social media and also relayed on the major television stations.
The Alimikhena’s action has given an automatic party ticket for Comrade Adams Oshiomole to contest for the Edo North Senatorial race.
It is speculated that that the Senator may seek for an alternative platform to actualized his senatorial ambition.
