The chieftaincy crisis in Ayogwiri Community, Uzairue Clan has escalated

The Inaboya Royal Family has barred its eldest son, Pastor Amidu Inaboya from entering the royal compound, accusing him of approaching the court over the succession to the throne.
Amidu, who is the first son of the late Ayogwiri community royal father, Pa Braimah Inaboya, had approached the High Court in Auchi over the plan by the royal family to present Bello Inaboya, the 8th child of the deceased, as the Community Village Head of Ayogwiri.
According to Prince Amidu, going by the custom and tradition regulating succession in Ayogwiri, the principle of Primogeniture applies. This means the first son of the last holder of the office succeeds, except the son expressly refuses or waives his right.
In a letter signed by six members of the family, the Inaboya Royal Family perceived the court action as an affront to the family hence reeled out sanctions ,
The signatories are: Mallam Aleonokhua Inaboya, Osikemekhai Napoleon Inaboya, Alh. Abubakar Inaboya – Head of the Family/Chairman, Inaboya Royal Family, Isaac O. Inaboya – Elder/General Secretary, Alh. Kassim Inaboya, and Edioye Kingsley Inaboya.
Part of the letter reads:
”Following extensive deliberations by the Elder Council concerning the implications of your conduct and its potential consequences for the unity, integrity, and security of the family, it has been resolved that, pending further review, you shall no longer hold yourself out as a representative of the Inaboya Royal Family in any traditional, cultural, political, economic, or communal capacity. Furthermore, you shall not purport to exercise any authority or speak on behalf of the Royal Family in any forum whatsoever.
”Accordingly, and in the interest of preserving peace, maintaining order, and safeguarding lives and property, you are hereby prohibited from entering or accessing the Royal compound with immediate effect. This restriction shall remain in force pending when the Council is satisfied that your actions no longer constitute a threat, whether actual or perceived, to the peace, unity and welfare of the royal family and the community at large.”
The Royal Family stated who ruled out the possibilities of repentance from the prince also listed conditions that must be met to appease the elders council.
, The condition as stated are ; ,A formal and unreserved written apology addressed to the Elder Council of the Inaboya Family.,Presentation of one (1) goat in accordance with customary reconciliation practices., Payment of the sum of ₦500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) as may be determined by the Elder Council.
To ensure compliance with the resolution, the Divisional Police Officer, Nigeria Police Force, Jattu Division, has been put on notice.
