Agbomere: Etsako Will Top Tinubu’s Vote Count in 2027*
By DADA AYOKHAI
Auchi — A leading House of Representatives Aspirant, Etsako federal constituency Hon. Blessings Agbomere, has said the Etsako axis of Edo North will deliver the highest votes for President Bola Tinubu out of the estimated 3.5 million votes pledged by the duo of Governor Monday Okpebholo and APC State chairman, Jarret ahead of the 2027 elections.
Agbomere made the statement in Auchi, headquarters of Etsako West LGA, during his formal declaration to contest the House of Representatives seat for Etsako Federal Constituency.
Agbomere’s assertion likely draws from historical voting patterns. Both former President Buhari, twice, and incumbent President Tinubu lost Edo State in their presidential bids, but the Etsako axis of Edo North consistently delivered their highest votes in the state.
Analysts say Governor Monday Okpebholo may be the game-changer for Edo’s 2027 vote. He could lock down his native Edo Central and use ongoing infrastructure projects to win Edo South for President Tinubu.
Agbomere, meanwhile, is relying on his grassroots strength in Etsako and ties to party leaders to secure the APC ticket.
The party has not decided if it will use consensus or direct primaries.
Hon Agbomhere is a lawyer, and media personality, previously served as All Progressives Congress (APC) South-South Zonal Organizing Secretary is a known vocal supporter of the Bola Tinubu administration .
