As we move towards the Labour Party Primary elections and Edo State 2024 Gubernatorial Elections, Hon Sergius Ogun as part of his Statewide Consultation and Familiarization, visited the Ovia North East Leadership of the Labour Party Under the leadership of the LP Ovia North East Local Government Chairman, Eng. Nosa Uwaifo .

Eng Uwaifo Welcomed and Dialogued with Hon. Sergius Ogun, as he assures them of his continous commitment towards representing the party in Good light as he has always done in his previous Political Engagements.

In his remarks, he assured the local government executives of his commitment to continue his track records as a lawmaker and consider the Edo project as a pilot study in fixing the rot of the country at large. He asserted that his resolve is to grant local government autonomy to the Local Governments to ensure the people enjoy the dividends of government.

He also x-rayed his plans on ensuring the average Edo person in the rural areas have unlimited access to quality healthcare through the refurbishment and restructuring of the Primary Health Centers. Among others, he promised the rebirth of Edo State bursary to deserving Students to ease the burden of tertiary education that is increasing across the country.

The party leaders assured him of their commitment to ensuring the best candidate of the labour party is selected to fly the party ticket. They promised to carry him along in the activities of the Party in the Local Government
