The Otaru of Auchi, Alh. Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, has charged the former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Philip Shaibu to reconcile their differences for the betterment of humanity.
Otaru made the appeal on Monday at Auchi, the administrative headquarter of Etsako West local government during the annual Auchi Day celebration
He said Oshiomhole and Shaibu jointly contributed to the building of Islamic building in the area, saying “Oshiomhole started the building while Shaibu roof the building.
“By what these two have done, it is something I must recommend that for whatever reason, these two brothers cannot think of import of evil against against each other so today I command In ihe name of Almighty Allah, these two brother should shake each other’s”.
Otaru however noted that the Auchi Day celebration is dedicated to the celebration of Allah, adding that God has been elevating the community.
In his response, Shaibu the State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, said he pray that one day Oshiomhole will called him his son again
“I was told that the former governor of Edo State and former national chairman was here, his excellency Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, I recognized him.
” I didn’t add other things because he has said I am no longer his son.I pray he will take me back one day”
“You know when a son is very stubborn, there is some one he resemble” he said
Meanwhile, Oshiomhole had left the venue for other engagement before the Otaru’s appeal.
