The Oyo State-based National Association of Organic Agriculture Practitioners of Nigeria, NOAN, penultimate week, joined the legion of other associations and groups which have invested the amiable and hard-working Edo State Commissioner of Business, Trade, and Cooperatives, Hon. Afie Braimoh, with awards of excellence in public leadership and service delivery

NOAN, in a letter conveying the Association’s award of the distinguished and meritorious service medal to Hon. Braimoh and signed by its National President, Mr. Jude Obi, the Association said it is exceedingly satisfied with the immense contributions of the awardee to the Association and similar bodies in the country

The award presentation ceremony took place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on April 27, 2023, and formed a part of the Association’s annual general meeting.

Hon. Braimoh was absent from the presentation but she was able to send an emissary to receive the award on her behalf.

NOAN is an NGO created to serve as an umbrella body for stakeholders who are engaged in organic agriculture in Nigeria.

Winning awards from reputable groups and professional associations is almost becoming second nature to Hon. Braimoh

The American-trained graduate
is highly rated as one of the best performers in the Gov Godwin Obaseki cabinet.

In particular, her handling of the “Made in Edo” policy of the state government earned her state and national recognition as an astute administrator
