The Labour Party Chairmanship candidate for Oredo LGA, Mr Onaghise osaretin Daniel-Ero has joined the legion of people across the country and the world at large in congratulating Hilda Baci (Miss Hilda Effiong Bassey on her feat of breaking the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual”.
Her victory had smashed the 87-hour, 45-minute record set by Chef Lata Tondon from India.
She cooked for 100 hours, setting a new world Guinness book of record as the first human on earth to spend such an amount of time cooking.
The highly rated and revered Labour party candidate who spoke through his media aid salute Baci’s zeal and commitment which lead to her victory.
He said the girls in Oredo will definitely take Baci’ victory as a tonic to exhibit their talent in cooking and House chores as potential not only to better their lot but also placed the local government on the map of excellence.
He also added that “Every little girl in all our communities especially within Oredo local government, like Hilda Bassey Effiong, deserves a chance to show the world her capacity to wrap us in her spirit of excellence. She has the ability to influence us, to break new ground in the most complex environments, and to substantially contribute to our nation’s economic prosperity.”
Again , he promised to harnesse young positive potentials to put Oredo and Edo state on the world if finally elected into office come 2nd September 2023.
