The statement read thus:
“Abraham Lincoln’s view about democracy as “Government of The People, by the People and for the People” emphasises the importance “OF THE PEOPLE” in every democratic governance and that is why-“THE PEOPLE”: remained the focal point of his humanitarian foundation- The AnameroFoundation.org focuses on selfless and humanitarian assistance in- education, empowerment, infrastructure, and service to humanity and amongst others.

Mr. Amamero also uses this medium to solicit Votes from the People of Etsako Federal Constituency ahead of 2023 elections.

“I solicit your vote once again, as l humble myself. Send me to National Assembly (House of Representatives) to represent you and l will build on my legacies as philanthropist that touches the life of common man with my little earned income.

Anamero also commended Asiwaju Tinubu and those who fought till this day became a national holiday.

“I must commend Aiswaju Bola Tinubu and other front line agitators for their relentless efforts up till June 12th was formerly acknowledged as public holiday by the federal government.

“It is on record that June 12th was formerly known as Abiola Day, only celebrated in Lagos and some South Western States of Nigeria. But today, it is a national holiday.

However, this day (June 12th) will not be complete until the “Restoration of Good Governance” which MKO Abiola promised Nigerians” is achieved across governmental levels through the right policy choices and implementation

To MKO Abiola and his family, you will forever remained in our heart.

“Today is a special day in our democratic history and we must never forget to remember all those (dead or alive) who fought for our democracy. Those who strengthened our institutions and charted the pathways which we now enjoy.

Let me therefore salute our founding fathers like Obafemi Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Sir Amodu Bello whose selfless service to the nation knows no bound.

As a people and as a nation, we must LEARN to love your neighbour as yourself by giving a helping hand to those in need around us and the less privileged no matter how little it might be. By this attitude, a lot of people would have been empowered and lifted out of poverty line.”
