The House of Assembly members-elect for Oredo west constituency, Dr Edosa Richard Osaro, alongside other members-elect were recently presented with a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), at a ceremony which took place at the INEC office in Benin, the Edo state capital.
Dr Edosa and his colleagues emerged victorious in the house of Assembly elections which took place across the state on the 18th of March, 2023.
Dr Edosa who won the election on the platform of the Labour party (LP) defeated the candidates of the two major political parties in the state, All progressive congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic party (PDP).
Speaking at the ceremony, Edo State INEC Resident Clectoral Commissioner , Mr Obo Effanga urged members elect to be alive to their responsibility in strengthening democracy in the country.
Dr Edosa in an interview shortly after receiving his certificate, said he is committed to the people of Oredo West Constituency.
He also assured the people of Oredo West of his tripple stand agenda which include health, security and education.
He further promised that he would fulfilled his party promises whose mantra he was voted for.
