The member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Bright Iyamu has congratulated the newly elected chairman of Orhionmwon local government area, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe on his victory at the concluded local governments poll and the assumption of office.
Recall that the newly elected chairmen of the 18 local government areas in the state were recently sworn in by the state Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki in a ceremony at the Government House .
In a personal signed statement to the Orhionmwon local government chairman, the lawmaker representing orhionmwon South constituency, Hon Iyamu described the newly elected chairman, as a visionary leader and a jewel who stood as a pillar to the Orhionmwon people.
The lawmaker further said he is happy to join orhionmwon people to wish him the chairman the best of office and also pledged his support to the local government to enable it key into the Governor Godwin Obaseki’s MEGA Agenda which is an umbrella of infrastructural development of the state.
Hon Iyamu also expressed profound appreciation to the state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki for providing the enabling environment for the local government elections to take place under a peaceful atmosphere.
He prayed Almighty God to grant Hon. Ugiagbe the wisdom to pilot the affairs of Orhionmwon local government council.
