Former Edo Commissioner, Braimoh to Speak, exhibits at FITCC Expo, United States

The Edo State former commissioner for Business Trade and Co-operatives, Hon. Afie Braimoh has been listed among the top exhibitors to feature at this year’s Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect (FITCC) fair in Houston, United States of America.

The fair tagged, FITCC Houston, will take place between October 24 and 25, 2023, at the plush George R. Brown Convention Centre, 1001 Avenida de las Americas.

The first edition of the international expo took place in London. The second edition which is taking place in United States is hosted by fidelity bank in Nigeria.

This year’s edition follows the tradition of promoting Nigeria’s non-oil exports as well as facilitating integrations to global supply-chain networks.

During the two days event , guests would be exposed to exhibitions by some of the very best of Nigerian businesses operating in the commodities, agriculture, FINTECH, fashion, arts, and allied sectors.

Similarly, several panel discussions would hold across the various halls at the venue as stakeholders and leaders in the business, regulatory and investment sectors of the US, and Nigerian economies share ideas on bilateral trade opportunities.

The former Edo State Commissioner who many referred to as trojan due to her remarkable zealousness to work has continued to make waves after her office tenure that is an uncommon tread amongst former public office holders in Nigeria, is expected to display her 7year old global SACFruits brand, which started as a dried fruits company and now blossomed into a Nutritious Snacks Company with a mission to take the guilt out of snacking with transparency and authenticity. She has always stayed true to her home by making sure that all raw materials are made in Nigeria, sourced in Nigeria for the global market.

The products were recently displayed at the maiden African Agricultural Trade Fair in Makurdi, Benue State, earlier in the year on invitation by the governor Rev Fr. Alia where it stole the show because the beginning of SACfruits started with mangoes from Benue State to this day.

She also served as a panelist at the Makurdi fair mainly in recognition of her outstanding feats in making local MSME’s the fulcrum of the state’s industrialization policy as well as her energetic promotion of the “Made in Edo” policy

Apart from the SACfruits exhibition, Hon Braimoh will also be showcasing Proudly Efo Pineapple and Proudly Edo Honey.

SACfruits nutritious snacks will be showcased including their new addition to the portfolio; the Eat-Drink herbal tea range made from the same dried fruits that the company has been known globally.

She continues to push the envelope on creating value from the same products which attests to the fact that the value chain for food is endless as long as we are creative and current.

These are products from Edo state which are tagged Proudly Edo products with logo as trade mark .

The proudly Edo Products brand were developed by Hon Braimoh as a policy statement during her days as commissioner in the state to differentiate Edo products from others on the shelf.

The former commissioner will also be speaking at the Fidelity expo on the topic, Aviation importations: Aviation solutions and importing products from Nigeria.

Hon. Braimoh is expected to share the spotlight with other global entrepreneurs and investors who have exhibited demonstrable sagacity and the ability to connect the dots between the field and the boardroom.
