The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Edo State branch, has inducted,President of Omega Fire Ministries International and Television Evangelist, Apostle Johnson Suleman at its maiden award ceremony.
The Edo NMA hosted her maiden Hall of Fame award ceremony to honour about 35 exceptional medical professionals, amongst whom were a few non-medical personalities of the society into the NMA hall of fame.
The event took place at the doctors house was graced by the presence of distinguished politicians, medical elders, and various esteemed guests.
Dr Adewole Afolabi – HOD, Family Medicine, UBTH (Keyboardist) & Dr Omoruyi Aibieyi – SR/Chief Resident, Dept. Of Chemical Pathology, UBTH (Drummer) demonstrated their prowess by skillfully playing the keyboard and drums, captivating the audience and adding a unique touch to the event.
The highlight of the evening was the unveiling and Commissioning of the Edo NMA Wall of Fame, by His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comr. Phillip Shaibu, ably represented by his lovely Wife, Mrs Mariam Shaibu.
The chairman of the Nigerian medical association, Dr. Udoka Imoisili said Apostle Johnson Suleman who was unavoidably absent because of his very busy schedule is being applauded and honoured by Edo State doctors for his various sacrificial aids to humanity.
In an interview ,Imoisili appreciated Apostle Johnson Suleman for his support to several widows and orphans including scholarship to indigent students in the state and beyond.
Some Executives of the association revealed that very soon the Nigerian Medical association will be on the list of beneficiaries of the Apostles benevolence as he has pledged to them in a private meeting with some leaders of the association
