Corps Commander Preye Ezekiel Bedford, has assumed duty as the new Sector Commander of the Edo State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
A Statement by the Command’ spokesperson, Patricia Onwochwei,
said the new Sector Commander assumed off on April 7, 2026.
According to the statement, prior to his posting, Mr. Bedford had served the Corps in several strategic and operational capacities, demonstrating a wealth of experience and dedication to service.
“He has built a distinguished career marked by professionalism and commitment.
“His extensive experience across these roles has equipped him with the administrative and operational competence required to lead Edo Command effectively” he said.
The statement explained that the new Sector Commander brings with him a strong vision for improved operational efficiency, discipline, and enhanced road safety enforcement.
“The Corps remains committed to its mandate of ensuring safer roads, and the new Sector Commander is expected to build on existing achievements while strengthening strategies aimed at reducing Road Traffic Crashes across Edo State.
