A former Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, has called for the heightened display of the kindred spirit amongst Edo citizens just as he declared interest in the 2024 Edo State’s governorship race.

The aspirant haven earlier addressed state executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday, December 14, 2023, at the party secretariat, proceeded to his campaign office where he solicited for support and a keen display of team spirit from followers to help create a wonder lust effect (Wadoghe), an effect strong enough to attract people down to the state based on unfolding transformations in the rural and urban areas.

Building traction on the “TRUST” agenda, an acronym for “Transforming the Rural and Urban Spaces Together,” he called on one and all to bunch together to help grow the economy, promote integrated rural development and urban renewal, improve access to health, education, potable water, and sanitation, to boost the existing standard of living.

Agba copiously declared before the different strata of people there present – party bigwigs, friends and family that, “Through innovative policies, we will address the comparative advantages of Edo South, Edo Central and Edo North, creating Financial, Cultural and Industrial hubs centred on a knowledge- based economy.

“The Benin kingdom, one of the historic kingdoms of the world, is custodian of the Edo heritage and culture. We must showcase this heritage, not only for its incredible
arts and culture but also as a cornerstone of our identity and potential for development.”
