Auchi Polytechnic Loses PRO, weeks after Acting Rector’s Death

Auchi Polytechnic Auchi was again thrown into mourning mood following the death of the school Public Relations Officer (PRO), Alhaji Mustafa Oshiobugie.

Oshiobugie’s death is occurring few weeks after the death of the Acting Rector of the polytechnic, , Engr. Mustapha Zubair.

According to a source, Oshiobugie died in the early hours of Wednesday October, 13 at Irrua Specialist Hospital, Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State after a protracted illness.

His death brings to three the number of the principal officers of the school who died with a space of two years.

The first was the former rector, Dr sunny Jimah, who died barely two years within his tenure followed by his successor in office , Engr Mustapha Zubair.

It was gathered that the institution’s spokesman has been in and out of hospital for a very long time for treatment over undisclosed ailment.

Preparations are said to be in top gear for the immediate burial of image maker according to Muslim rites at his home town of Auchi.

Oshiobugie who hail from Auchi, the instititution host community is the longest PRO of the school.
