The All progressive congress APC in Akoko Edo local government has caught the bug of parallel Primaries presently becoming part of the Edo politics.
A faction of the APC primaries produced the incumbent member of the house of reps, Hon Peter Akpatason who is gunning for a fourth term for the house of representatives race.
The other faction nominated
Paul Johnson Afagason, as candidate after pulling 38 votes to beat his closet rival Joy Aina Akande Oboigbe who scored 7 votes out of the 45 delegates who were present .
The Akoko Edo APC is taking a cue from the Edo state chapter of the PDP which is presently emenshed in parallel party primaries.
