Edo APC Chairman Jarret Tenebe Bags LLB From Baze University

Benin City — The Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emperor Jarret Tenebe, has celebrated his acquisition of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Baze University, Abuja.
Baze University is one of Nigeria’s elite private universities, known for its high tuition and patronage by top politicians and affluent Nigerians.
Announcing the feat on his Facebook page, Tenebe said the completion of the programme would now allow him to focus fully on Edo politics.
Tenebe holds the distinction of being the chairman of a ruling party from the Edo North axis, and maintains what is described as a robust relationship with the state governor, with attendant benefits to his constituency.
News of the law degree sparked congratulatory messages across the political space.
Early well-wishers included APC chairmanship candidates in Etsako West and Central LGAs, Romeo Omoike and Dame Vera Sado, who saluted his courage in undertaking the programme.
Others who sent messages were Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku; House of Reps aspirant Blessing Agbomere; and House Majority Leader, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, who represents Owan Federal Constituency.
In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Prof. Ihonvbere congratulated Tenebe and expressed confidence that the Edo APC chairman would leverage his new academic status to further advance the party’s transformative programmes and ensure continued cohesion within the APC across the ‘Heartbeat’ state.
“As I join millions of other well-wishers, friends and associates today in celebrating your new attainment in the academic world, this is wishing you more groundbreaking achievements and sustained success in all your endeavors,” Ihonvbere said.
