The Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Eugenia Abdallah, has expressed the Ministry’s readiness to partner with Edo born Big Brother Naija (BBN) Season 10 housemate, Ivie Sabrina Idukpaye, to promote women-focused programmes and initiatives in the state.
Sabrina Idukpaye ,a London School of Economics master’s graduate is an
actor, model, and spoken-word poet from Edo State, competed in Big Brother Naija Season 10 (2025). . She left the show early due to medical reasons.
During a courtesy visit to the Ministry, Mrs. Abdallah welcomed Idukpaye, describing the visit as “timely and significant”.
She emphasized the Ministry’s openness to collaborating with young, relatable voices to engage and inspire younger women, amplifying the Ministry’s projects, and increasing visibility for its programmes.
Mrs. Abdallah, has lauded Idukpaye’s sense of purpose and leadership, saying the government believes in “harnessing innovation, youth-driven advocacy, and strategic collaborations” for social development.
She expressed confidence that the partnership would boost the Ministry’s programmes, inspire participation, and create opportunities for women and girls in the state.
”The government firmly believes in harnessing innovation, youth-driven advocacy, and strategic collaborations as key pillars for sustainable social development,” Abdallah stated.
Idukpaye, who expressed her dedication to driving positive social impact, pledged to support initiatives empowering women, advancing education, and creating opportunities for young girls in the state.
