Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, has launched new constituency projects while some of his earlier initiatives remain unfinished.
One notable example is the road project from Warake to Ivbiaro in Owan East LGA .
Despite being a high-priority project, the site has been abandoned with no visible signs of construction,.
Senator Oshiomhole, represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Victor Oshioke, unveiled the new six projects as the first batch of his 2025 constituency projects in Edo North dstrict with few months remaining before the year ends.
The projects for execution includes: the 2.5 kilometre Fugar-Ukhor Road in Etsako Central LGA, construction of six classroom blocks at Apana Mixed Secondary School, Apana, Etsako West LGA and six classroom blocks at Osime Primary School, Agenebode , Etsako East LGA.
Others are the construction of 250- capacity automated CBT centre at Iyamho Secondary School, Iyamho, Etsako West LGA, construction of six block of classroom and furnishing at Akpekpe Secondary School, Auchi, Etsako West LGA and block of classroom at Ijemounu Primary School, Ihievbe Ogbe, Owan East LGA.
“This is the first batch of my constituency projects for 2025 and in the coming weeks l will be unveiling the second batch which will cut across the wards and six local governments made up of the district.
“My focus is education that is why I am building schools to enhance learning in our school environment.
“The idea is to revive the red roof revolution to ensure that pupils and students have a conducive environment for learning,” he said.
He, however urged the contractors to deliver the projects on time.
Responding, the contractors handling the various Projects pledged to deliver the projects in three months.
Project Manager of Jehovah Limited, Augustine Erikhumhi and Aaron Atta, De-golf Allied Limited sought collaboration with the communities to deliver the projects on time.
