The All Progressives Congress (APC) , has commended Hon. Philip Shaibu and Hon. Ogbeide Ihama for their strategic support to the party through hand over of political assets to the campaign council.
The Director, New Media, APC, Campaign Council, Mr. Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah who acknowledged the duo through a press release said, “The APC New Media Campaign Council proudly acknowledges the significant contributions from former Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu and former House of Representatives member Hon. Ogbeide-Ihama to the APC Okpebholo/DENCO Campaign Organization.
“These prominent figures and influential members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have made substantial donations that underscore their confidence in the APC vision for a New Edo.”
Praising the personalities for their lodestone quality, Omo-Ikirodah acknowledged, “His Excellency (H.E) Philip Shaibu has generously donated over 50 Sienna vehicles, music trucks, and a well-furnished secretariat office. These resources are expected to enhance the campaign’s operational capacity significantly.
“Additionally, Hon. Ogbeide-Ihama has provided a fully equipped campaign office building located at No. 1, Sokponba Road, in the heart of Ring Road (King’s Square), Benin City. This strategic location will serve as a crucial hub for coordinating campaign activities and engaging with the electorate.”
Omo-Ikirodah opined that these remarkable contributions will undoubtedly devastate the ranks of the PDP. He said the support of these high profile leaders, each with a considerable following, signals a significant realignment within the political landscape of Edo State.
He affirmed that the support from these two personalities will likely galvanize other members of the PDP to reconsider their positions, potentially leading to a wave of new support for the APC political party.
He noted that, “APC is poised to leverage these new assets to amplify its grassroots mobilization and outreach efforts. The vehicles and music trucks will facilitate extensive voter engagement across the region, while the secretariat and campaign office will serve as pivotal centers for organizing our campaign strategy.
“This development marks a pivotal moment in Edo politics, reflecting the growing momentum behind the APC and its agenda for progress and development. As the PDP struggles to cope with these high-profile defections, the APC is solidifying its position and building unprecedented momentum.”
Omo-Ikirodah reaffirmed that the APC New Media Campaign Council is confident that the support from the political gladiators signifies a new dawn for Edo State, even as he pointed, “A New Edo is indeed RISING, characterized by renewed hope and a collective drive towards a brighter future under the leadership of the APC.”
