…Pupils gifted customized exercise books
The member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency, in Edo State House of Assembly, EDHA, Hon. Bright Aitenguoba Iyamu has commenced an empowerment programme with over 200 constituency members benefiting from the point of sale, POS, machines empowerment scheme.
Iyamu said, “I want the best for the good people of Orhionmwon. That was what motivated me to come up with this POS pay point empowerment scheme. People will no longer have to go far before doing their financial transactions.
“The primary goal is to make sure that every village in Orhionmwon has at least one POS pay point machine. It will make the people have access to funds, it is a start up point for them and before you know it Orhionmwon will become a Bee hive of commercial activities.
“I urge every one that benefitted from this empowerment scheme to be proactive and focus on their business, so that tomorrow I will be proud that this POS empowerment scheme was able to impart lives positively.”
Beneficiaries of the Bright Iyamu Pay Point Empowerment Scheme were all excited and appreciated Iyamu for the laudable initiative.
Some of the Beneficiaries, a widow, Juliet Enobie who was filled with joy, appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture while Igbinigie Osahon said busineses will grow fast and transactions henceforth will be very easy.
Dignitaries at the event were Enogie of Ugo Niyekeorhionmwon HRH Edugie Ogierhiakhi Ogiuogo, Enogie of UgbokoNumagbe HRH Solomon Ogimade, Lady Uwa Osunbor SA to the Governor on Political Affairs, Prince Stanley Iduoze PDP Chairman Orhionmwon, Amb. Wesley Asoro, Hon. Frank Omosigho EDHA Member representing Oredo East Constituency, amongst others.
In another development, schools sited in the Constituency also benefitted from Hon. Iyamu empowerment scheme, as branded exercises books were distributed to indigent students.
Iguododo Primary School, Eghosasere Primary School and Umagbea Primary School students were all excited as Iyamu gave the students free branded exercise books.
Over five thousand exercise books were distributed across Orhionmwon South Constitutency.
The students, teachers, Edionweres and Enigies all showered encomium on Iyamu for his laudable initiative and support for the education sector in Orhionmwon Local Government Area.
