The chairperson of the Edo State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan is among the names recently unveiled by the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ to serve as a member of one of its committees charged with the task of organizing and managing the body national conference.
The list was made public in Abuja, the National Secretariat of NAWOJ.
The body probably decided to reconstitute the various committees to bring on board some fresh hands and ideas capable of bringing new and breezy perspectives to the activities of the body.
Comrade Adesuwa’s appointment to one of the committees certainly did not come as a shock to many of those who have been won over by her robust and open-minded approach to managing the affairs of the Edo NAWOJ.
Comrade Adesuwa is on the second lap of her tenure as chairperson of the Edo State chapter of NAWOJ.
By her appointment, Comrade Adesuwa will possibly gain national exposure while also allowing her and the other committee members to make sure that the next national conference of the body is an unforgettable experience.
