The Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu has directed all teriary institutions in the country to admit qualified students who sat for the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) GCE A/Level between 2015-2021.
Alhaji Adamu reminded Nigeria higher schools of learning that while the ministry stopped the conduct of NABTEB GCE A/Level in 2021, the NABTEB GCE A/Level for 2015-2021 are however still valid and usable for admission into tertiary institutions following their approval.
According to the latest edition of JAMB Bulletin, he said that candidates who gained admission with the results should continue their programmes as the certificates issued during the period are still relevant.
He said: “With the approval, candidates who had used the NABTEB GCE A/Level (2015-2021) to secure admission into higher institutions are to continue with their studies as the certificate issued for the 2015-2021 are valid.”
The comprehensive list of such candidates is available for verification for with JAMB at no cost, adding that the reminder is for the guidance of the concerned institutions.
