Hon. Henry Duke Tenebe has mourned the death of the former Edo PDP Chairman, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, saying the state has lost one of its great political icons.
Tenebe said Orbih’s contributions to party growth and community service will be difficult to replace.

Hon. Tenebe, who served as the Senatorial chairman of the PDP in Edo north and later as State Organizing Secretary during the tenure of Orbih as Chairman of the party in the state , said the late politician was a leader who carried everyone along and prioritized the interest of the party above personal gains.
It was a shocking moment for me and my family when we heard the news. Chief Orbih was not just a leader, he was a brother to many of us who worked with him,” Tenebe said.
According to him, Chief Orbih used his position to mentor young politicians and build bridges across divides, earning him respect across party lines in Edo State.
“He was a bridge-builder, a voice of reason, and a man who believed in unity. His door was always open to anyone who needed help or counsel,” he added.
Hon. Tenebe noted that Orbih’s contributions to the growth of the PDP in Edo and his service to the people will be difficult to replace, saying the vacuum created by his death will be felt for a long time.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the wife, children, the entire Orbih family of Ogbona in Etsako Central LGA, and the PDP family across the state and nation.
He prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
