Once again, Sen Yisa Braimoh, the PDP leader of the Owan, has unequivocally demonstrated his deep-rooted influence in Edo North politics.
The former Edo North representative thwarted all opposition, securing victory in the two polling units in his Owan enclave, effectively foiling the chances of the opposition APC.
Sen Braimoh’s resounding success in winning his Ihievbe Ward 3 and two other polling units in the Owan East LGA reaffirms his unwavering support and respect among the Owan people.
In Ward 3, Unit 4 of Owan East, the PDP secured 96 votes to the APC’s 47 votes, while the LP received zero votes.
Similarly, in Ward 3 Unit 15, the PDP garnered 73 votes compared to the paltry 32 votes of the APC, with 1 vote for the LP.
The remarkable performance of the PDP in the Owan axis unequivocally validates the political stature of the former senator.
With his Ihievbe kinsmen, elders, and the Traditional Council firmly standing behind him, Sen Braimoh’s political value remains unassailable.
Despite attempts by the opposition APC and the defectors to reclaim dominance in the Owan axis, Sen Braimoh emerged as an insurmountable obstacle, steadfastly leveraging his influence to the fullest extent.
A grateful Sen Braimoh, who could not hide his joy about the election outcome, immediately sent out words of appreciation to the Owan people, including the traditional institution, thanking them for their unwavering support and solidarity.
He promised to continue to deliver and lead the Owan axis to lead the Owan people in the right political direction.
Known for his catchy SYB insignia, Sen Braimoh recalled how he and a few like minds laboured to place Owan firmly on the Edo North political landscape, adding he has no plan of slowing down
