‎Workers Day: Edo Federal Lawmaker  Salutes Workers

‎The member representing Egor/ Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency of Edo State in the National Assembly,  Honourable Murphy Osaro Omoruyi,  has on behalf of himself and family extends his goodwill message to all Nigerian workers especially those of Egor/ Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency on the occasion of the 2025 Worker’s Day celebration.


‎Hon. Omoruyi in a  signed  Press Statement made available to journalists  saluted Nigerian workers for their resilience over the years and also called on governments at all tiers to declare a state of emergency on unemployment.


‎The federal lawmaker notes that the commemoration of Worker’s Day reminds us of the indispensable role that workers play in nation-building , hence the need for governments to make their welfare a priority.


‎” I wish to personally salute all Nigerian workers, particularly those of Egor/ Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency, for their  dedication to duty, professionalism, and  daily sacrifices”.

‎The parliamentarian stressed that workers’ sacrifices help to keep the various sectors of the economy running smoothly even in the face of the current economic realities.

‎He said that despite these challenges,  workers have continued to demonstrate commitment and patriotism beyond measures.

‎He enjoined all workers to use the Worker’s Day celebration to promote unity, progress, and above all, the extension of brotherly love to all and sundry, especially the unemployed and the downtrodden in our midst.

‎He prayed the good Lord to continue to abide with every worker in the country and assured of his commitment to support every piece of legislation that will enhance the well-being of Nigerian workers.
