‎UBTH CMD Commends St. Matthew’s Academy for Nursing Training‎

‎The Chief Medical Director of University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, on Friday, March 27, paid a working visit to Rev. Matthew Okpebholo, founder of St. Matthew’s Royal Academy, in Esan Central LGA.

‎She commended the academy’s role in training nurses and urged students to remain diligent as both institutions deepen ties.

‎Prof. Ize-Iyamu and UBTH managers praised Rev. Okpebholo for running a high-quality nursing program at St. Matthew’s Royal Academy in Eidenu Irrua, Esan Central. The CMD stressed nursing’s importance and urged students to stay focused on their studies.

‎Addressing the nursing students, Prof. Ize-Iyamu emphasized that nursing is a noble career.
‎”Nursing is a noble profession, and you are indispensable in the health sector. As nursing students, please be excellent ambassadors of this institution.  Let the name of this school be written in gold. ” Prof. Ize-Iyamu said.

‎She further explained the critical role nurses play in patient care and the overall healthcare system.
‎Her words served as motivation for the students, reinforcing the value of their chosen path and the impact they can have on the lives of others.
