Tinubu Names Abass Braimoh Non-Career Ambassador‎

‎President Bola Tinubu has submitted a fresh list of non-career Ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.

‎The list comprises of  34 career ambassadors and 31 non-career ambassadors, totaling 65 nominees.


‎ Amongst  the 34 career ambassadors nominated by President Tinubu from
‎Edo State are   Oduma Yvonne Ehinose from Edo Central and Wasa Segun  Ige from Akoko Edo in Edo North.

‎The non career  nominee is Hon. Abass Braimah representing  Edo State.


‎Braimoh  hails from South Ibie of Etsako West LGA, previously served as Personal Assistant to Senator Adams Oshiomhole when he was the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

‎ He also represented Etsako Federal Constituency  at the House of Representatives between 2007 to 2011
‎under the PDP banner .


‎ An  Engineer by profession  was born on the 29th. September, 1969,

‎He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin (1990), Edo State, followed by a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja.


‎The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has been tasked with screening the nominees and submitting a report within one week .
