By DADA AYOKHAI

The South Ibie community in Etsako west LGA is presently enveloped in tension over purported rumour of the removal of the royal father, the Aidonogie of South Ibie kingdom,Oba Kelvin Danesi by the state government.

The rumor had it that the Edo state government has approved the appointment of Umoru Inusa Umoru as the Aidonogie of the kingdom

There has not been any official statement from the government over the rumour.

Probably to douse the tension, a group which tagged itself South-Ibie Sons and daughters and Lovers of our great Kingdom, in an unsigned statement on social media read thus;

“We share in your worries and anxieties in connections with the jubilation by the Ogiator family and its supporters over the claim of appointing one Umoru Inusa Umoru as the Aidonogie of South Ibie, we urge you to be calm and to be law abiding and also to reassure you that the appointment of His Royal Highness Alh Aliyu Kelvin Danesi as the Aidonogie of South-Ibie is still valid till date, that no competent court or government papers have sent it aside. “

The purported claim is an imagination of Umoru Inusa Umoru and his co travellers that would never see the light of the day Inshallah. It is important to also remind us that there is existing court order restraining the Edo State Government or any of its agent, Etsako West, and Ogiator family. This you will find in the attached.

No government or any of its agent would openly flaunt the order even if they choose to be on the part of illegality, we assure you it would not pass the test of time.
