Sule Garuba’s Selfless Gesture: A New Chapter in Auchi Politics

The late former Edo Speaker, Zakawanu Garuba, who started his political career in Auchi, Etsako West LGA, has a sibling following in his footsteps into politics.
Garuba Sule, younger brother of the late former Speaker, has not only opted for politics but also established a foundation to give back to his constituency, rather than pursuing politics for personal gain.
It was gathered that he might express interest in running for office in the upcoming 2027 elections, potentially at the local government or constituency level.
The Sule Garuba”s Foundation took off with donation of notebooks to primary and Secondary schools in Auchi, aiming to ease the burden on parents. The foundation has planned various activities to support and empower youths and vulnerable individuals in different spheres of life.
The foundation also donated a drone to enhance safety in Auchi, allowing for early detection of potential dangers and
also organizing a football tournament to engage youths and help them discover their talents. .
The community is praising his philanthropic efforts, welcoming him into politics through a positive path. His late brother’s associates are willing to support him, paving the way for his entry into politics.
Auchi political analyst, Mr. Abdul Ismalia, praises Sule Garuba’s initiatives, calling him a “buddy to youths” for his contributions to youth development. He predicts Sule will reshape politics in Auchi, Etsako West, and Edo North, saying “his best is yet to come.” Mr. Ismalia urges the Auchi community to support Sule Garuba.
