The Owan nation in Edo North will soon meet to decide on the coalition, African Democratic Congress (ADC) .
This was revealed by Hon. Jimoh Ijegbai, a political leader in the zone and former commissioner in the state.
According to Hon Ijegbai who spoke after the maiden meeting of the ADC said leaders will be briefed, and a stand will be taken on the next move regarding the coalition ,ADC .
The maiden meeting of the ADC was held at the residence of Chief John Oyegun, former Governor of Edo State and leader of the coalition in the state, attracted prominent politicians from various parties.
Notable personalities who attended the meeting include Senator Roland Owie, Senator, Ehigie Uzamere, former Governor of Edo State, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor, Dr. Isaiah Osifo, Barr. Kenneth Imansuagbon , Segius Oguns, who is the ADC candidate for the Edo Central senatorial by-election, among others.
The outcome of the meeting will likely determine the direction and potential success of the ADC in Edo State.
Also speaking, Hon. Ambrose Imode, a former Local Government Area chairman and PDP House of Representatives candidate, stated that the ADC aims to correct many ills in the political landscape.
Political pundits speculate that the ADC’s influence may be significant in the Owan axis of Edo North, potentially spreading to other zones like Etsako and Akoko Edo.
