Copying copiously from the playbook of his contemporaries who have appointed numerous media aides to enhance the image of their administrations, Sen Monday Okpevbolo announced the appointment of a third media aide.
Mr Osiobugie Oyase Okhuemoi has been appointed as the Governor’s Special Media Adviser on Publicity.
This announcement was made via a terse press statement signed and released by the SSG, Mr. Musa Ikhilor.

In addition to his role as Special Media Adviser, Mr Osiobugie will also serve as the spokesperson for the governor.
Before this appointment, Mr Osiobugie worked as an in-house consultant and was the Head of Corporate Communication and Brand Strategy at FGR Energy, located in Ikoyi, Lagos.
He was reported to have garnered more than 15 years of active and practical experience in Public Relations, Communications, and Brand Strategy.
The statement issued by the SSG described Mr Osiobugie a graduate of the University of Benin who also holds a professional diploma in Public Relations, as a “well-rounded professional.”
Earlier, Governor Okpevbolo appointed Mr. Fred Itua as his Chief Press Secretary and Godswill Inegbe as Special Adviser on Communication, Strategy, and Media Projects
